Cube Making

On Monday Mrs.Walters came in room 5. I had a fun time. Do you know why? We were making a 3-d cube. We all had to find a partner . My partner was Silas. Room 5 had to be careful of who our partner was. Then we had to think of how many wine gums and toothpicks or skewers we needed.

We used 12 toothpicks and 8 wine gums. I wasn’t allowed to eat the wine gums because they had gelatine in it.

Silas and I got toothpicks instead of skewers because we knew that if we chose skewers it wouldn’t stand up well. Silas ate a wine gum secretly when he wasn’t supposed to.

At the end we could eat the wine gums. Silas got to eat all of our wine gums. Before we got to eat the wine gums we had to measure the whole thing. My measurement was 78cm.

I had a great time making a 3D cube.
